Roly Automation develops a dynamic focus for the GalvoMATIC laser system

Roly Automation is making significant strides in enhancing its GalvoMATIC laser system, with the recent creation of the first prototype for a dynamic focus module. The development team has been actively working on this innovation for the past couple of weeks, aiming to integrate advanced focusing capabilities directly into the GalvoMATIC platform.
Despite acknowledging that the prototype is an initial “rough run” with more work ahead, the team is optimistic about incorporating this feature without increasing the current price of the GalvoMATIC. This commitment to maintaining affordability while adding high-value functionality suggests a strategic move to bolster the product’s competitiveness.
Leo Qu, a spokesperson for GalvoMATIC, addressed user speculation regarding future generations of the machine. When asked if ‘gen 2 and gen 3’ capabilities might be included in current machines before shipping, Qu revealed, “I debated about keeping this for a ‘GalvoMATIC Pro’ of some sort, but figured now is the best time to work it in.” This statement confirms Roly Automation’s intent to push cutting-edge technology into their standard offerings rather than reserving it for a premium model.
The successful development of a dynamic focus module promises enhanced precision and versatility for GalvoMATIC users, allowing for more consistent results across varying material thicknesses and complex geometries. This upgrade underscores Roly Automation’s dedication to continuous improvement and delivering advanced features to its customer base.
