Review of the Creality universal laser engraver safety enclosure

The Creality Laser Engraver Enclosure has been a game-changer for my wood engraving projects! It’s essentially a little tent for my laser engraver, which is surprisingly effective. Setting it up was straightforward, and it instantly contained the smoke and fumes that used to fill my workspace.

Yes, it does increase the overall footprint of your engraving setup, but the peace of mind it provides is worth it. The built-in fan and venting pipe do a decent job of extracting the smoke, especially when working with wood. For those on a tight budget, like myself, and without the space or skills to build a custom enclosure, this is an excellent option. I managed to snag it for under £50 on TEMU, which felt like a steal.

It’s particularly invaluable when cutting wood, where smoke generation is significant. However, for metal engraving, I still prefer a well-ventilated room, as the enclosure’s ventilation might not be as critical. The flame-retardant material adds an extra layer of safety, which is always reassuring. Overall, this enclosure is a practical and affordable solution for hobbyists looking to enhance their laser engraving experience.
