    I have the sculpfun s30 got it at a good price direct from a Chinese website. It comes with an air assist that is controlled by the machine.

    The SCULPFUN S30 Pro Max is a fantastic machine, particularly for smaller-scale projects. I’ve had success cutting 1/4″ plywood with it, and the results have been quite impressive.

    However, I encountered some difficulties when I upgraded to the 935x905mm extension kit. The setup process was more complex than anticipated, requiring a lot of adjustments and troubleshooting. I even had to use a voltmeter to fine-tune the voltage on the Y-axis, which was a bit frustrating.

    To mitigate the smoke and fumes, I opted for a simple solution: a 4×4 foot grow tent. I built a table within the tent, placed the laser and table on it, and then ran a fan to exhaust the smoke outside. This setup has worked well for me, keeping my workspace clean and smoke-free.

    While the S30 Pro Max is a capable machine, it’s essential to be prepared for some technical hurdles, especially when using the larger extension kit. For those with smaller projects, a smaller grow tent might be a more suitable option.

    Don’t buy machine. I have had an s30 pro max 20w and after two years and less than 500 hours use the laser is down to 50% power. Sculpfun were not much help to me, they offered a 10% discount on a new laser module if I send the old one back at my expense.
