LaserPecker launches ‘profit-proof’ laser cutter for small businesses

A new era for entrepreneurs and small businesses has dawned with the announcement from LaserPecker, a company renowned for its portable laser engravers, of its latest innovation, the LaserPecker LX2.  Set to be officially unveiled at IFA ShowStoppers in Berlin on 4th September, this new machine is engineered to be the first “profit-proof” desktop laser cutter, designed for high-efficiency batch processing and large-format projects.

Moving beyond its popular handheld devices, the LX2 marks a significant strategic shift for the company, targeting hobbyists, crafters, and small business owners who are ready to scale their operations. The machine’s core philosophy is to strip away the usual complexity and prohibitive costs associated with professional-grade equipment, providing an accessible pathway for ambitious creators to turn their ideas into a lucrative business with seamless efficiency.

For too long, small-scale professionals and home-based entrepreneurs have been stifled by equipment that is either too limited to grow with them or too difficult to master. The LX2 aims to solve this by striking a perfect balance between industrial-level performance and straightforward, user-friendly operation. With a searing speed of 1000mm/s and a maximum acceleration of 10,000 mm/s², the LX2 is a powerhouse, boasting an efficiency increase of over 50% compared to traditional 600mm/s systems, which is a game-changer for businesses handling high volumes or large-scale commissions.

The LX2’s dual-alignment system, featuring a high-resolution 12MP camera and advanced Point-to-Shape positioning, guarantees impeccable precision and consistent results, making batch processing a reported 20% faster. This is an efficiency revolution in a single, powerful system. Its modular design allows for effortless transitions between various laser units—including 20W, 40W and 60W diode lasers, as well as a 2W infrared laser—making it incredibly versatile. This allows it to handle an impressive range of materials, from 22mm wood to 15mm acrylic and 0.5mm stainless steel, all within a safe, fully enclosed system that minimises waste and accelerates turnaround times.

LaserPecker, founded in 2017, has already established a global user base of over 200,000 with its LP1 to LP5 portable engraver series. The introduction of the LX2 represents a bold step into the professional desktop market, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its mission: “Let Your Creativity Fly.” The LaserPecker LX2 will be available for pre-order on its official website, with a special launch offer running until 15th September.
