ACMER announces a regional website split for a better customer experience

As the laser engraving community continues to grow globally, manufacturers are under increasing pressure to streamline their logistics and customer service. ACMER, a key player in the hobbyist and professional diode laser market, has just announced a major digital overhaul.

Starting 1 January 2026, ACMER will officially transition to a segmented regional website structure. The move is designed to provide a more tailored shopping experience, including local currency displays, region-specific promotions, and improved local services.

The Breakdown: Where Should You Shop?

The update primarily affects makers across the continent. Here is how the digital storefronts will be divided:

  • The European Hub: Customers in Europe will need to use eu.acmerlaser.com for all new orders following the update.
  • The Global Store: acmerlaser.com will continue to serve makers in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and other non-European regions.
  • The UK Choice: Notably, British customers have the best of both worlds, with the ability to place orders on both the Global and European sites.

What Happens to Your Loyalty Points?

If you have been hoarding points from previous machine or accessory purchases, there is no need to panic—you will not lose them. However, there are a few logistical points to keep in mind:

  • Legacy Access: European customers can still log in to the original site to view their order history and existing point balances.
  • New Activity: After the January deadline, any new purchases or point redemptions for European users must be carried out via the new .eu domain.
  • Manual Transfers: If you would like assistance moving your account details or points between the two sites, ACMER’s support team is ready to help.

To ensure a smooth transition of your account data or point balances, contact support@acmerlaser.com or reach out via ACMER’s official social media channels.

Why the Change?

For the average engraver, this move should simplify the checkout process. Localised currency and region-specific shipping calculations mean fewer surprises when it comes to the final price. It also suggests that ACMER may be planning more targeted sales events and promotions tailored to specific regional maker seasons.
